As a scientist at Nofima, my main focus is on the quality of and yields from cod and cod products. I have previously conducted research into how the catch and handling on board the fishing vessel affects quality, and have participated in a number of projects on the production of salted fish and stockfish. In more recent years my main focus has been on live capture and live storage. I am the manager of the National Centre for Capture-based Aquaculture. I am educated as a Fisheries Candidate.
