Summary
This report presents results from research investigating if there are differences in how the Norwegians and the Spanish quality assessors perceive quality when assessing salted codfish. The research revealed some differences. In the conducted survey the Spanish respondents rated most of the quality factors as more important than the Norwegians did. In the quality assessments, the Spanish expert quality assessors were stricter of in their assessment of what fish is to be graded as superior quality (primera). There were also differences in which quality defects the experts reported.
