I work as a Senior Scientist in the nutrition group at Nofima . I am involved in research in salmonids and marine species, regarding different topics of general nutrition. Main areas of interest are feed composition, evaluation of feed ingredients, and nutrient utilization. During the recent years, I have had a focus on dietary lipids. I am involved in applied research projects financed by commercial interests, as well as research projects that are publicly funded. Education: Cand. Agric. (similar to MSc) in Animal nutrition (1986) and Dr. Scient (similar to PhD) in Aquaculture and nutrition (1992) from UMB (University of Life Scienses), Ås, Norway
