I am employed as a senior scientist in Nofima. My main fields are feed and food technology, physicochemical and rheological characterization of ingredients related to extrusion, development of new feed ingredients and feed concepts, process optimization and utilization of residual raw materials. I am a civil engineer (M.Sc.) in chemical engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and have a PhD degree from the Department of Chemistry, University of Bergen. I have also worked at TORO, Rieber & Son ASA with the development of marine powders and extracts. I have also worked as a research scientist at the Norwegian Herring Oil and Meal Industry Research Institute (SSF) and as a senior process engineer at KVÆRNER Installasjon a.s.
