I work as a scientist in the Department of Seafood Industry in Tromsø. I have a degree as a graduate engineer in biotechnology and a PhD in food technology from the University of Tromsø.

I have worked at Nofima since 2009 with my main focus on process optimization and quality. In recent years I have focussed on frozen fish and various related aspects (freezing, freezer storage and thawing). My academic interests also include heat treatment, drying, fish welfare and instrumental measurements.
