As a senior scientist within Nutrition and feed technology in Nofima, I am working within different fields of practical nutrition, such as feed formulation, raw material evaluation and protein utilization, mainly in Atlantic salmon. Recently, I have been increasingly involved in projects on dietary oil sources and utilization of omega-3 fatty acids. I am a diploma engineer in biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (1990) and have a PhD in aquaculture biology from the University of Tromsø (1997). I have been in Nofima since 2004.
