Feed contains a variety of ingredients that must meet a fish’s nutritional needs at various stages of its life.
Feed development is also about creating a feed pellet with the physical and functional properties that work in commercial fish farming.
At Nofima, we can develop and adapt feed to meet the needs of different production systems such as hatcheries, fish cages at sea or land-based facilities.
The feed ingredients should come from sustainable sources. We test these ingredients and further develop them ourselves or together with suppliers.
