I am a senior engineer in the Department of Food Safety and Quality, where I work with food packaging.

Packaging plays an essential role in preserving food quality, which must be balanced against the strong current focus on cutting down on plastic usage. My work focuses on gas and light measurements and food packaging.

I have a master’s degree in industrial chemistry and biotechnology with a specialization in food chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU, 2017).
