I work as an engineer under the Ingredients and Process Department at Nofima. I have worked here since 2015, specialising in meat, in charge of the sausage maker here at Ås. My duties include participating in various research projects, as well as performing food analyses such as water activity, pH, texture, colour etc. I trained as a retail butcher at Meny (2005-2009) and sausage maker at Strøm-Larsen (2009-2010). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from Sør-Trøndelag University College (2014), and a master’s degree in food science from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).
