Protecting ecosystems is a crucial task of the public sector. At the same time, the authorities must lay the groundwork for enabling the general public to use our coastlines, waters and territory.
We evaluate the effects of public policy instruments to determine the extent to which these goals are achieved. We also provide advice on how the authorities can develop conditions for the food industry to enhance its profitability and competitiveness.
