Tina H.E. Thesslund

I am a research assistant with a master’s in biology with focus on physiology and ecology. I have worked with different species, everything from whelk, Snow- and King Crab to salmon and cod. My work mostly constitutes of research questions around production biology, but also animal behavior related to catch and live holding. I am currently working with capture-based aquaculture of Red King Crabs and live storage of Snow Crabs. In my work, I plan and follow up different types of trials and take part in sampling. Can provide input for trial setup, whether it is for testing new bait or a growth study for salmon. I have experience and knowledge of sampling in microbiology, genetics and histology.
