Research Technician
I am a research assistant with a master’s in biology with focus on physiology and ecology. I have worked with different species, everything from whelk to salmon and cod. My work mostly constitutes of research questions around production biology, but also animal behavior related to catch and live holding. I am currently working with capture-based aquaculture of Red King Crabs and live storage of Snow Crabs.
In my work, I plan and follow up different types of trials and take part in sampling. Can provide input for trial setup, whether it is for testing new bait or a growth study for salmon. I have experience and knowledge of sampling in microbiology, genetics and histology.
