As a senior engineer at the Department of Food Safety and Quality, I work with microbiological and molecular biology methods.

My work involves the quantification and characterisation of microorganisms, often related to packaging and storage trials. I use traditional microbiological methods, as well as MALDI-TOF, Sanger sequencing and MiSeq.

I have a master’s degree in biotechnology from NTNU – The Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (2018).
