At Nofima, we want to provide knowledge that benefits the conditions for Norway’s food production system.    

In Norway, around 200,000 people are involved in producing food. Food origins and food’s climate footprint are becoming increasingly important in public awareness, and the efforts of the food industry to give us good living conditions, in the form of both workplaces and healthy food products, are noticed. 

By providing knowledge of how food companies contribute to societal development, we want to strengthen the food industry and help ensure that different industries can live well side by side.
