In my job as a researcher I am interested in the wellbeing of fish and crustaceans before they become dinner. In my PhD entitled «Stress responses influencing filet fillet quality in trawled cod and haddock”, I studied who different types of stress affect the fillet quality of cod and haddock. Currently, I am working with fish welfare in fisheries and how different fishing gears affects the welfare and stress levels of cod. I am also involved in a project about coexistence in coastal areas and I am pursuing a postdoc in humane killing of crustaceans.
