Market and seafood have been in focus for a long time. Born in the fishing capital Båtsfjord, where they grew up working with capelin, cod and shrimp. At the Norwegian Seafood Council, I worked for many years as an analyst, marketing manager and industry manager and have extensive experience as a lecturer at home and abroad. In Egga Utvikling, I have been project manager for the Cod Cluster market for three years.
I have extensive experience in arranging seafood conferences, both the Cod Fish Conference in Tromsø, Frozen at Sea Conference in Ålesund and the Skrei Conference in Myre. Otherwise, I have work experience from both Hurtigruten as a strategic analyst and Dualog as marketing manager. I have a master’s degree in marketing from BI Norwegian Business School and Marketing Competence for the seafood industry from the Norwegian School of Management. Ongoing projects: E-commerce of seafood, market access to the EU for pelagic fish, product development of seafood snacks, robotisation in whitefish production and marked test of farmed cod
