Both new and traditional markets are monitored by Nofima’s researchers. We acquire knowledge of market channels, barriers and corporate culture to help players succeed in a variety of markets.
At Nofima, we are broadly versed in markets for products with long traditions, such as stockfish, salted cod, ordinary cod and herring. But we also conduct research into new markets for salmon, live crab, frozen raw materials, kelp and high-value products made from residual biomass.
We learn about the priorities of industrial customers in different markets and we have developed our own method for making surveys of new seafood markets.
