Senior Engineer
Responsible engineer for AKVA-lab’s cell laboratory at the Ås location since 2017. Radiation protection officer at Nofima Ås. I perform cell isolations and cell experiments in collaboration with researchers (primarily from the departments of “Feed and Nutrition” and “Fish Health”), as well as subsequent analyses such as qPCR and enzyme assays. I work with both aquatic and mammalian primary cells, cell lines, and explants. I isolate primary cells at both Nofima Ås and Sunndalsøra. Since 2023, I have been acting lab manager at the cell line lab at the Food department, where I also wrote my master’s thesis in 2014/2015 and held a temporary position at Food and Health from March 2016 to June 2017. I also have experience from an accredited microbiological analysis lab prior to my time at Nofima.
