Marianne Vaadal

I am a qualified bioengineer and have completed a master’s degree in biotechnology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences – NMBU. I now work as a senior engineer at Akva Lab Ås. My main focus is on microscopy and cell work, which also includes immunolabelling, histology and in-situ hybridisation. Other techniques I use involve working with RNA/DNA, including microarray, genotyping and isolation work. I have previous experience of large-scale sequencing, work involving laboratory animals, neuron cell cultures, histology and TEM, as well as routine analysis in clinical chemistry and haematology/morphology.
