I have an internship at Nofima Ås, and study Food science, Technology and Sustainability at NTNU in Trondheim. I will be at Nofima Ås for one semester, and work in the departments Raw materials and process optimization, and Food and health. During this period, I will gain experience in various lab work and get a greater understanding of sustainable development in the food industry. Some of the techniques I work with are mid infrared spectroscopy (MIR), farinograph and extensograph, as well as FT-IR spectroscopy. I have also worked with protein analysis with Dumas’ instrument, and NSP analysis with GC.
