Summary
Today’s older population have more focus on quality of life than previous generations. Having an active and healthy aging will probably be even more important for the elderly of tomorrow. This is a complex subject that requires collaboration between research and innovation disciplines to meet the challenges. It is important to involve elderly in about creating their own future. The aim of this study has been to identify what needs must be met to ensure that elderly have a healthy and active old age. We provide five future images/stories which can be used as starting point for innovation.
