Summary
There is a total employment in the catch-based value chain of just under 2000 people. We find 800 employed in the processing industry, and approximately 110 in other directly related activities. Added value creation for the fishing fleet is estimated for 2015 of 1.16 billion NOK for all vessels registered in Troms. For the fishing industry, it is 431 million NOK.
