Lars Dalheim

I work as a scientist at Nofima’s Department of Marine Biotechnology.

My research interests revolve around the utilisation of old and new marine resources, rest raw materials and side streams from various processes. I also have an interest in technology, processing and the analysis of fats.

I have a PhD in marine biotechnology from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, where I worked with the oil from an omega-3-rich microalgae grown on CO2 from a smelting plant. I have also worked as a laboratory manager at a manufacturer of fish oil concentrates.
