I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biological Chemistry with a specialisation in Molecular Biology. I have worked at the Centre for Organelle Research (CORE) at UiS with genetically modified cells, protein expression and extraction. As part of the research for my bachelor’s degree, I focused on finding biomarkers for drug resistance in breast cancer treatment with the common drug Tamoxifen, where I worked extensively with CISH, RNA isolation and PCR. I have a great interest in modelling, programming and genetics. As part of the research for my master’s degree, I worked with the Fortran programming language and modelling using kinetic equations. At Nofima I work mostly with rheology and texture measurements as well as other matters related to ongoing experiments.
