Summary
BioLab has purchased a new spectrophotometer to ensure the operational reliability of a critical instrument. The new instrument is of the same type as the existing one (Evolution 220). A validation has been conducted regarding accuracy and precision (certified calibration carousel). A paired t-test has been done comparing the old and new instrument by the analysis methods Total Phosphorus, Soluble Phosphorus and Tryptophan. The purchased spectrophotometer Evolution 220 is approved for analysis.
