Summary
Area planning is an important part of both facilitating and managing aquaculture in Norway. This report considers ways area planning in Norway could be different, and discuss how this could affect the development of the Norwegian aquaculture industry, and also other important societal goals. The report is part of the research project «Havbruksforvaltning 2030» (Aquaculture management 2030), financed by the Norwegian Seafood Research Fund (FHF).
