Summary
The aim of this study has been to evaluate new and improved systems for efficient landing of fish in Hovden, Vesterålen and Havøysund, Finnmark. The new fish on shore landing systems and technologies were tested and evaluated in terms on how data were registered and logged throughout the entire fish landing process. During this phase II of the project, the system suppliers were more involved in the project. The Norwegian Metrology Service tested the systems at both facilities and concluded that the system in Hovden was acceptable whilst the system in Havøysund needed some adjustments.
