As a scientist in the Production Biology department at Nofima, my work focuses on fish welfare in aquaculture—specifically, how we can measure, assess, and monitor the well-being of farmed fish. I am passionate about understanding how fish are coping with their environment and translating that knowledge into actionable insights for aquaculture operations. With a background in behavioral ecology, I further developed my expertise in digitalization and project management during my PhD and Postdoctoral research. In my role as an applied researcher, I prioritize the practical application of the welfare models we develop, ensuring they are both effective and usable within the industry.
