I am a senior engineer in the Raw Materials and Process Optimisation Department, where I have been working since 1993.

I received my education as a bioengineer at Rikshospitalet, and have previously worked in the Pathology Department at Rikshospitalet. I work with microscopic techniques such as light microscopy, including fluorescence and confocal microscopy, as well as scanning electron microscopy and its application for various tissues, foods, packaging and emulsions.

I also work with various protein analyses such as gel electrophoresis (1D, 2D and zymography), protease activity (calpain, catepsins and MMPs) and proteomics to understand how proteins affect raw material quality and functionality. To analyse specific proteins, I use immunological methods such as Western blotting and immunohistochemistry.
