Sondre Olai Spjeld

I’m an engineer at Nofima and I work at Biolab in Bergen. At Biolab I perform microbiological analysis, with the most common being Salmonella PCR, detection of Entrobacteroaceae, Clostridium Perfingens and aerobic count of microorganisms.

Before starting at Nofima Bergen, I worked at the microbiological department at Haukeland University hospital, where my main task was performing Covid PCR.

I have a B.Sc. in natural science and M.Sc. in microbiology. The focus of my master thesis was with carbohydrate degrading enzymes retrieved from hydrothermal environment.
