As a Postdoc at Nofima, I am mainly responsible for working on Food Packaging for a circular economy. I am also a member of the COST Action Network CA19124 Rethinking Packaging for Circular and Sustainable Food Supply Chains of The Future (CIRCUL-A-BILITY). My education background comes from a Master’s in Agricultural Biotechnology at the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University (India) in 2012, followed by a PhD in Chemistry and Materials Technology from Tomas Bata University in Zlín (Czech Republic) in 2020. I have a research background in developing and characterizing polysaccharide-based active thin films for whole fruits and vegetables. I was also employed at Tomas Bata University in Zlín 2020-22 as a Researcher and was a part of the Life Cycle Assessment team. I also have a passion for Cycling and Yoga.
