I obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Business Informatics from Rotterdam and Utrecht University in the Netherlands, respectively. Afterwards I worked as a software developer and data analyst working with the .Net framework and ETL for database migration. From 2016-2019 I obtained a Ph.D. in computer science from Utrecht University focusing on machine learning and natural language processing for topic discovery in large corpora. From 2019-2020 I worked as a scientific developer and researcher at the Computer Science department of UiT, focusing on deep learning based algorithmic methods for accelerometer and ECG data. From 2020 onwards I started a postdoc at Nofima where I focus on machine learning based methods for image analysis of MRI data. I currently also have a part time position (bistilling) as a researcher and PhD supervisor at the computer science department at UiT.
