I work as a researcher at Nofima . My research and interests spans a wide collection of topics. Behavioural patterns in fisheries and evaluation of fisheries management instruments are key areas. This includes both catch and landings patterns and changes in vessel quota portfolios. Analysis of corporate economics is central for behavioural studies, while social economics aret he cornerstone of the management instrument evaluations. Capture-based aquaculture is another important research area for me. Especially the economics of this utilization of a limited resouce. In addition, the market implications of increased supply of fresh fish during the low season for the fisheries are very interesting. My formal background is a masters degree in
fisheries science from the Norwegian College of Fisheries Science.
