I am a research scientist in the Production biology group at Nofima with background in reproduction biology, molecular biology, egg quality, embryonic and early larval development. My main focus is on marine species, in particular cleaner fish. Here, focus is on acquiring full understanding of the reproductive cycle and early life stages to allow successful rearing of these species. Moreover, I am involved in research on the production of robust fish and improving knowledge and assessment of fish welfare in the aquaculture industry. I hold a PhD from the Technical University of Denmark, which was entitled “Egg Quality and Offspring Performance in European Eel”.
