I am a PhD student at the Breeding and Genetics Department in Nofima.

My PhD is part of the Marie Curie – Innovative Training Network project (ITN) EATFISH.

My research is on the quantitative genetics and statistical genomics of amoebic gill disease resistance and gill health in Atlantic salmon.

The research aims to find alternative phenotyping methods for gill health that are non-invasive, objective and accurate, and to perform quantitative genetics and genomics analysis to facilitate effective selective breeding for improved gill health in Atlantic salmon.
